1. Prepare the surface
Stir well before use; thin paint that is too thick with a little water. Clean the surface of dirt, dust and flaking old coating and degrease it with water and washing-up liquid or with methylated spirit. To improve adhesion, an old surface is best keyed lightly with sandpaper.
2. Apply thin coats
Apply the paint in a thin coat with a brush or a roller; 1–2 coats, the next one once the paint looks dry. Paint at a temperature above +5 °C.
3. Let it dry
Touch-dry after ~1 h; the next coat after 2–4 h; fully dry after 72 h; store at +5…+25 °C and protect from frost. After 24 h the painted surface can be sanded for a patina effect.

How far it goes
2–2.5 m² — At ~4–5 m²/l. One tin is usually enough for a chest of drawers. Apply the next coat after 2–4 h, once the paint looks dry. Touch-dry after about 1 h. Ready for everyday use after at least 3 days.
Magnetic chalkboard paint
One 0.25 l tin makes about 0.4 m² of working board — roughly 60×70 cm. Apply with a foam roller: at least 3 coats, 4 hours apart. You can write on it after 3 days.

Colours
Six calm colours, one product. The matt chalk finish sticks to wood, MDF, metal and plastic without sanding or priming.
